ShaktiArt is the studio practice of Ioana Hudrea ("we"). This page explains, in plain words, what happens to your information when you visit shaktiart.com or write to us. If anything is unclear, email us at hello@shaktiart.com.
When you write to us
The enquiry form asks for your name, email address and message. We use them for one thing only: replying to you. Your message is delivered by Resend (servers in the EU) to our mailbox at Zoho Mail (EU data centres). If you choose the WhatsApp button instead, the conversation happens on WhatsApp under WhatsApp's own terms.
We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any order that follows from it. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible purchase (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We never sell your details and never use them for marketing.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. A single functional cookie remembers your language choice (English or Romanian) — it is required for the site to work as you asked and contains nothing personal.
Visitor statistics
We use privacy-friendly, cookieless statistics (Vercel Web Analytics, plus Vercel Speed Insights, which measures page-load speed) to see aggregated numbers such as how many people visit, from which countries, and which pages they view. No personal profiles are built, nothing is stored on your device, and you are not tracked across other websites. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Where the site runs
The site is hosted by Vercel, and images are served by Sanity's content network. Like any web server, they briefly process your IP address in technical logs to deliver pages securely — this rests on our legitimate interest in running the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data-processing agreements under the GDPR are in place with these providers.
Links to other services
Where we link to our Etsy shop, Instagram or WhatsApp, those services apply their own privacy policies once you are there.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask at any time to see, correct, delete or receive the information we hold about you, and you can object to or restrict its use. Just write to hello@shaktiart.com — there is no form or fee.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority; in Romania this is ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).
